It all started with a rescue

In 2013, I rescued my first Belgian Malinois mix, Lexi. She changed everything.

Shortly after bringing her home, I founded r/BelgianMalinois and r/DutchShepherds — two communities that have since grown to 75,000+ working breed enthusiasts.

Building something bigger

For over a decade, I raised and trained Lexi as an amazing family companion. When she passed in 2024, I knew I had to honor her legacy.

That's when K9 Bites was born.

K9 Bites is a newsletter dedicated to solving real problems submitted by our community of working breed enthusiasts.

What I do now

I build tools and write guides every Thursday at 11AM ET to help enthusiasts adopt, buy, raise, train, and care for working breeds.

These days, I'm raising Aki, my Dutch Shepherd. He's training to be a Personal Protection Dog, which means I'm learning just as much as I'm writing.
